Abstract
This study aims to develop an assessment tool of leisure tendency for older adults who use social services from senior welfare centers at the exploratory level. A total of 416 older adults were interviewed across the nation. The reliability and validity of the scale were tested by internal reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and convergent validity analysis. The sub-factors of the final version showed a good internal consistency. Consistent with theoretical predictions, the EFAs revealed the same factor structures in the observed variables. Lastly, the convergent validity was partially supported. Implications for future changes can be discussed for gerontological social workers to use the assessment tool.
